Chris Milford was born and raised in Uganda and lived in tents and bush camps in the wilds until he was 5 before moving into a small township. These early experiences have shaped and moulded his life ever since, the grandeur and majesty of nature being driving forces in his development.
Coming to England when he was 15 years old was challenging but soon outdoor activities and especially rock climbing came to dominate his early life. He was an Outward Bound instructor then trained as a PE teacher, specialising in movement and dance. This proved a major asset in his experience of Karate then Tai-chi.
Re-training as a maths teacher gave invaluable experience in formal classroom teaching. This has helped gain him the reputation of being a powerful, energetic, dynamic and inspirational teacher - over the top but that's the feedback!!
He has been studying, practicing, learning and living the way of energy for over 30 years through Yoga, Karate, Tai chi, Qigong, Meditation and various mind power methodologies.
Keeping in good health is very important to him and so diet, mind set and exercise is essential. He is vegetarian, always looks for the positive angle in every situation and trains in a number of sporting activities including marathon kayaking and mountain biking.
